There will be changes in operation of public transport, parking lots and customer service centres on Christmas holidays
„Rīgas satiksme” informs that on Christmas holidays there will be changes in the operation of public transport, municipal parking lots and customer service centres, as well as in the order of using monthly tickets for working days.
Public transport (trams, trolleybuses, buses)
On December 24, 25 and 26, the public transport will run according to Sunday’s schedule. As a result, on December 25 and 26 holders of Riga resident’s card will be able to use holiday one-hour tickets.
Passengers having bought monthly tickets for working days shall take into account that these tickets will not be valid on December 25 and 25, which are festive days.
Customer service centres
On December 23, the customer service centre at Brīvības Street 49/53 will be open from 10:00 until 13:00, but other customer service centres will be open as usually on Saturdays, i.e. until 16:00.
On Sunday, December 24, the customer service centre at Spīķeru Street 1 will be open from 10:00 until 16:00, but other customer service centres will be closed.
On December 25 and 26, all customer service centres will be closed.
Parking lots
It will be possible to use pay parking lots of Riga municipality, operated by „Rīgas satiksme”, free of charge on December 24, 25 and 26, except the underground car park at Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street 5a, where parking services will be charged for according to the current tariffs.
Minibuses, night transport
On December 24, 25 and 26, minibuses will be running according to Sunday’s schedule.
The traffic of night transport will be organized in the night of December 22/23 and December 23/24.
